Hello, Brawl Stars fans! The highly anticipated Null’s Brawl v64.226 update is currently in development. This patch will introduce the new Mythic Brawler Gigi, a Waffle Event, the new Upside Showdown roguelite game mode, reworked Hypercharges, and one of the biggest balance updates of 2025.

Update Status: IN DEVELOPMENT

We’ve already started analyzing the client files and internal structure of the upcoming build, but for now we’re waiting for the release of the new game client based on version 64.226. Once it’s out, we’ll be able to access the source data and begin adapting all the new content to match the battle logic and server mechanics of Null’s Brawl.
Since this update includes many major changes especially to Hypercharges, balance adjustments, and the roguelite mode physics. It will take some time to test everything thoroughly and ensure stable integration.

Upside Showdown Mode: Revolutionary roguelite game mode with five-stage progression and power selection system.
4 New Hypercharges: Enhanced abilities for Pam (Mama’s Love), Alli (Swamp Snacking), Mina (Triplecane), and Ziggy (The Grand Vortex).
Hypercharge System Rework: Standardized stat bonuses across all brawlers for balanced gameplay.
32 Brawler Balance Changes: 17 buffs and 15 Hypercharge nerfs for improved competitive balance.
Trio Wipeout Mode: Three player cooperative variant with escalating challenges and shared upgrades.

All of this content will be added to the Null’s Brawl private server once the client update is released, we’ll make sure everything runs smoothly and without issues.

Meet Gigi: The New Mythic Brawler

Gigi joins Null’s Brawl as a mythic assassin with unique abilities. This ownerless ballerina doll appeared in the curiosity shop and wears a mysterious glove supposedly made by a wizard.

Gigi’s Abilities

Trait: Charges Super from staying close to opponent projectiles and melee attacks.
Primary Attack Pirouette Power: Continuous spinning melee strike that deals area damage and grants extra movement speed while active. High payoff when you can chain hits, but exposes you to counterattacks if mistimed.
Super Teleport: Teleport to a targeted area for an immediate arrival burst, then can return or reposition to continue pressure. Enables surprise engagements and quick escapes.

Star Powers

A Helping Hand: Heals when teleporting.
Plie Protection: Increases Supercharge rate if no damage has been received for a certain time.

Gadgets

Longer Strings: Super charging area is bigger.
Disappearing Act: Creates a temporary area on the ground that makes her (and allies) invisible while inside.

How to Play Gigi

To maximize Gigi’s output and performance in Null’s Brawl, players should:

Engage selectively: Start with controlled spins to apply pressure, then use Super to dive or escape as needed.
Position with teammates: Rely on peels and teammates to maximize uptime in fights.
Use terrain: Leverage chokepoints and objectives to maximize your area damage while minimizing exposure.
Counterplay: Watch for ranged and hard-CC counters; pick moments when allies can cover your entry.

The Stranger Things crossover brings exclusive skins and boss battles to Null’s Brawl.

Boss Battles and Waffles

Team up to battle Vecna, Demogorgon, and Ghost Frank. Defeating these bosses rewards players with Waffles—the new event currency that can be exchanged in the event shop for card packs and exclusive rewards.

Upside Showdown

Upside Showdown is a roguelite Showdown-inspired mode where players advance through multi-stage runs. Players select upgrades at the start of each stage, with top-four progression to the next round and five total stages per run. Completing all stages yields top-tier rewards.

Gem Grab 4×3: Polar Payoff and Mine, All Mine.
Mega Boss: Frank and Vecna.

New Hypercharges

Pam (Mama’s Love): Support-oriented Hypercharge that enhances healing or shields.
Alli (Swamp Snacking): Mobility-based Hypercharge for ambushes or escapes.
Mina (Triplecane): Offensive Hypercharge that augments damage output.
Ziggy (The Grand Vortex): Control-focused Hypercharge with area denial.
