Nori – Kenji and Kaze’s Son

Nori is a Legendary assassin and the child of Kenji and Kaze, making him the first brawler ever born in Starr Park. That origin gives him extraordinary powers no other brawler has. He is built for aggressive, fast-paced play, rewarding players who can chase, outmaneuver, and finish enemies before they can react.

Null's Brawl Nori Brawler

Nori Aspect:

  • His main attack, called Fishing Fury, uses a fishing rod and changes depending on how long you charge it. A quick tap does a wide fishing rod slash that hits nearby enemies. Holding it a little longer casts the rod forward like a hook — if it hits an enemy or a wall, Nori dashes toward it, dealing damage through brawlers and closing the gap or escaping danger. At full charge, he jumps clean over walls, making him one of the most agile brawlers in the game.
  • Every time Nori hits an enemy brawler with his main attack, he catches a fish. These fish are stored next to his health bar and used to power up his Super. His Super, Catch of the Day, sends Nori diving into water before he emerges to deal area damage after a short delay. The Super consumes all collected fish, increasing its size by 5% and its damage by 4% per fish — so the more fish you bank, the bigger and deadlier the Super.
  • Nori also has two Gadgets. Sushi Snack lets him eat up to 3 fish to heal 1000 HP per fish, while Gonna Need a Bigger Net fires a fishing net that roots the first brawler hit for 1.25 seconds and deals 800 damage. His Star Powers add even more depth: Big Haul catches 3 fish whenever his Super hits enemy brawlers, and His Mother’s Son grants +20% speed for 1 second every time he lands a main attack.
  • Nori has roughly 7,600 HP. His health is not high, but his mobility makes him extremely hard to pin down. He will thrive in modes where chasing and aggression are rewarded. Nori releases in July.

Wendy – The Windstock Engineer (Coming in August)

Wendy is a Mythic support brawler and an eco-friendly weapons scientist with a nostalgic soul. After years working inside the shady NanoStarr corporation, she left to build Windstock and help the planet instead of harming it. Unlike Nori, her entire kit revolves around keeping her team alive and reducing the damage they take.

Null's Brawl Wendy Brawler

Wendy Aspect:

  • Wendy has a unique Trait: she can walk over water and charges her Super whenever she takes shield damage. Her main attack, Blow Dryer, fires a blast that deals 2400 damage and gives herself a 1386 shield. When she hits a teammate instead, she grants them a 2000 shield, letting her apply offensive pressure and protect allies at the same time.
  • Her Super, Planet Protector, deploys a shield generator that absorbs 75% of all damage taken by Wendy and her teammates within its range. This creates a safe zone that is extremely hard for enemies to break through. Her Gadgets give her more flexibility: Wind-Powered boosts her on a short jump, while Green Grenade launches a wind grenade that slows all enemies hit and briefly stops them from healing.
  • Her Star Powers reinforce her control: Slowing Shield slows enemies caught inside her shield generator, and Solar Shield gives the generator an extra 2000 health. Wendy has the lowest base health in the game at around 4,000 HP, but her constantly recharging personal shield can effectively double her survivability. She is expected to be one of the strongest supports in Gem Grab, Brawl Ball, and Knockout. Wendy releases in August during the Windstock season.

Ramen Rebellion: The Two-Season Connected Story

The biggest addition in Null’s Brawl v68.250 is the Ramen Rebellion — the most ambitious event the game has ever attempted. Instead of a single seasonal theme, it ties two connected seasons together across roughly nine eventful weeks, weaving animations, powers, game modes, events, and skins into one unfolding story. One detail of the story can even change based on what the community chooses.

Null's Brawl v68.250 new update

The story begins when an automated noodle shop opens across from Kenji and Kaze’s sushi restaurant, catching the interest of their son Nori. The shop produces NanoNoodles, and once brawlers eat them, they gain strange new abilities. It becomes an epic adventure where Kenji and Kaze fight to save Katana Kingdom and their child. Season 1 is Brawl Pass Season 52, called NanoNoodles, and features NanoDrops containing NanoPowers. Season 2 is Brawl Pass Season 53, called Windstock, and features Smoothie Drops containing Fusions.

Nano Powers: The New Power System

  • Nano Powers are the headline mechanic of the first season. There are a total of 106 Nano Powers to unlock across four rarities: Baseline, Augmented, Cybernetic, and Quantum. Each one is unique to a specific brawler — instead of giving the same bonus to everyone, each brawler gets three Nano Powers designed specifically for them.
  • Once you unlock a Nano Power for a brawler, you do not use all three at once. At the start of a match with the Nano Powers modifier active, the game shows you two of your unlocked options and you pick one to activate for that match. They can affect any attribute — main attack, Super, speed, damage, defense, and more — which makes every match feel different and far less predictable.

How to Unlock Nano Powers

  • Nano Powers come from Nano Drops, the main reward system of the season. Nano Drops can be earned through Daily Wins, Mega Quests, Boss Fights, Side Quests, Daily Contests, and Creator QR codes. Each Nano Drop gives you 3 picks from a set of 5 cups, with each cup holding 0–3 Nano Noodles. The minimum reward per drop is 1 and the maximum is 9.
  • Every Nano Drop also fills the Nano Meter, which unlocks additional milestone rewards including resources, cosmetics, and exclusive skins. Collect 150 Nano Drops and you are guaranteed to earn all the skins of the season — it is possible to get them all for free if you collect from every source.

Fusions: The Windstock Twist

In the second season, Windstock, Nano Drops are replaced by Smoothie Drops, which work almost identically and can be earned through Daily Wins, Mega Quests, Topple the Tower, Side Quests, and Creator QR codes. The difference is what they unlock: Fusions instead of Nano Powers.

There are also 106 Fusions across the same four rarities. A Fusion is a more powerful variant of a Nano Power. Instead of picking one power before the match, the game randomly takes two of your three powers and fuses them together, giving you the combined benefits of both during that match. If you gain a Fusion for a brawler that already has a Nano Power, the Fusion replaces it. Each Smoothie Drop also fills the Smoothie Meter for extra rewards, and collecting enough across the season unlocks the full Windstock skin set.

Three New Boss Fights: Nori, Tara, and Brock

  • Null’s Brawl v68.250 adds three brand new bosses, each in a chaotic nano-infused state.
  • Nori flies around the map with his fish companions, using fierce fishing pole dashes and slashes. Tara floods the map with an army of shadow clones, giant black holes, and dangerous projectiles. Brock brings pure chaos with an endless aerial rocket barrage — more rockets, more Brock — that you must weave through to survive.

Daily Contests and Topple the Tower

Daily Contests make a comeback as a new take on the Katana Kingdom Contests. Every day a fresh set of contests appears with a choice of 1 of 3 game modes and a limited number of attempts. Play at least one game to earn Nano Drops, then return the next day for a new lineup.

Topple the Tower is a 5-floor climb where each floor has a different pre-set map and game mode. You are given a curated pool of 5–12 brawlers, all maxed out including Buffies, and the pool favors brawlers you have Fusions and Nano Powers for. Before each floor you pick a brawler. Win and that brawler locks to that floor and you advance; lose and the brawler is removed from your pool while you stay on the floor. Run out of brawlers and the run ends until the next Tower opens. Clearing all 5 floors without a single loss earns a Perfect Run and the unique “Unbeatable” title. You need at least 8 brawlers on your account to play, which you reach at 325 Trophies. The event also supports team play if both players are on the same floor.

Six New Buffies: Rico, Brock, 8-Bit, Meg, Max, and Surge

This update’s Buffies cover two trios — the Arcade Trio (Rico, Brock, 8-Bit) and the Super City Trio (Meg, Max, Surge). Each gets three Buffies that boost their Gadgets, Star Powers, and Hypercharge.

Nulls brawl buffies

Rico has both Gadgets reworked. Multiball Launcher deploys a 4000 HP vending machine that fires projectiles in all directions when destroyed, and the buffied version lets Rico shoot it to load more projectiles. Bouncy Castle fires a giant gumball that splits into smaller projectiles on impact, slowing enemies when buffied. His Hyperbuffie increases projectile speed and adds 2 extra projectiles to his main attack.

Brock gets a Super rework — Rocket Rain now tracks his movement so the barrage follows him. His Rocket Laces Gadget is now aimable and grants a speed boost when it hits an enemy, while his second Gadget can split the mega rocket into 4 smaller rockets. His Hyperbuffie turns his Super rockets into cluster bombs with side rockets.

8-Bit has Extra Credits reworked to fire 18 aimable projectiles during his main attack that bounce to nearby enemies when buffied. Cheat Cartridge fully heals his Damage Booster and heals 8-Bit for 3600. His Hyperbuffie gives him infinite ammo during Hypercharge and lets him interrupt his attack with a new one.

Meg gets a big Mecha-focused rework. Her Super, Mega Machina, now deals 3000 area damage when she enters the Mecha. Jolting Volts heals the Mecha and nearby allies, while Tool Box ejects her and launches the Mecha forward for 1600 damage. Her Hypercharge gives Feel the Steel more range and slows enemies when she calls in the Mecha.

Max leans further into support. Phase Shifter is now aimable and can dash twice when buffied, and Sneaky Sneakers refills her ammo and heals nearby allies when she blinks back. Her Hyperbuffie makes Faster Blaster charge the Supers of nearby allies.

Surge gets new ways to charge his Super plus a brand new Hypercharge. Power Surge boosts his Super charge rate and reload speed, To the Max makes his attack bounce off walls and spawn smaller projectiles, and his reworked Hypercharge Stage 5 shoots Justice Juice in every direction when his Super lands.

New Hypercharges: Starr Nova and Bolt

Two brawlers get fresh Hypercharges. Starr Nova becomes invulnerable while dashing and gains almost unlimited ammo. Bolt’s Bowling Bolt Hypercharge lets him destroy all walls while his Hyper Super is active.

Seasons and Skins

  • This update brings two themed seasons of skins plus a few miscellaneous ones, split between traditional Japanese themes and modern cyberpunk vibes.

NanoNoodles Season Skins (Brawl Pass Season 52)

  • The Brawl Pass headliners are Master Mico (Epic) with Fire Master Mico and Earth Master Mico chromas, and Cyberpunk Jae-Yong (Epic) with Nano Jae-Yong and Choom Jae-Yong chromas. Additional skins include Tickoyaki (Mythic, 199 Gems), Fighter Berry (Mythic, 199 Gems), Cyber Shelly (Legendary, 299 Gems) — Shelly’s first Legendary skin — Tech Tara (Mythic, 199 Gems), and Nano Nori (Rare, 29 Gems). The season title is NanoPowered.

Windstock Season Skins (Brawl Pass Season 53)

  • The second season is themed around green energy and futuristic nature. Brawl Pass skins are Biotech Byron (Epic) with Unearthed Byron and Leaf Master Byron chromas, and Retrofuture Rosa (Epic) with Renewables Rosa and Sci-Fi Rosa chromas. Other skins include Grizzled Kenji (Mythic, 199 Gems), Energized Sprout (Mythic, 199 Gems), Windstock Gray (Legendary, 299 Gems), and Turbine Moe (Mythic, 199 Gems). The season title is Wind-Powered.

Miscellaneous Skins

  • Adidas Ash (Epic, 149 Gems) launches from the previously teased Adidas collaboration. Mega Mecha Meg (Hypercharge, 499 Gems) is a special skin tied to an event during the Windstock season, with Mega Corporate Mecha Meg and Mega Earth Mecha Meg chromas. The Ranked Pro Pass skin Cyber Brock also arrives, with Cyberpunk, Corrupted, and CyberChaos Brock variants. True Gold and True Silver skins are added for Damian, Starr Nova, and Bolt.

New Game Modes

Combat Cooking (PvE) is played by a single team of 3. You have 3 orders to complete before time runs out, gathering ingredients from delivery bots that are protected by 3 different types of guard bots, then placing them into the Wok. There are 10 ingredient types and no wrong ingredients can be placed.

Food Fight (PvP) pits two teams of 3 against each other with the same 3 orders. The first team to complete all orders wins; if time runs out, the team with more completed orders wins, and a tie goes to overtime where the first recipe completed decides it.

Mecha Guard is a brand new PvE mode. Players carry and charge up a battery for Meg’s Mecha while fighting off hordes of enemies and collecting power-ups. At the end, a fully charged Mecha joins the team for an epic battle against a random giant boss enemy.

Other Notable Changes

Speed boosts no longer stack — only the strongest active boost applies. Dashes that deal no damage now have a more accurate landing indicator. The end of the Brawl Pass no longer contains extra boxes for Gems. Leaving early from Brawler Release events now gives a warning and eventually a cooldown. Sprout receives a small art refresh with a new seed backpack, updated across his Corrupted, True Gold, and True Silver skins. Mythic skins now always have Kill SFX tied to their Kill VFX, with 68 skin-specific sound additions. The Catalog now shows whether a skin can appear in the Oddities Shop.

Wendy is a Mythic support brawler and an engineer who left the NanoStarr corporation to build Windstock. Her main attack shields allies, and her Super deploys a generator that absorbs 75% of damage taken by her and her team. She releases in August.

Nano Powers are temporary per-brawler power-ups unlocked through Nano Drops. There are 106 across four rarities. Each match you pick one of two random options, and it can change any attribute of your brawler for that game.

Combat Cooking (PvE) and Food Fight (PvP) are cooking modes where you gather ingredients and complete orders, while Mecha Guard is a new PvE mode where you charge Meg’s Mecha and fight off enemy waves before a giant boss battle.

Six brawlers get Buffies: Rico, Brock, and 8-Bit from the Arcade Trio, and Meg, Max, and Surge from the Super City Trio. Each gets three Buffies upgrading their Gadgets, Star Powers, and Hypercharge.
