Null’s Brawl v69.230 Update With Cosmo, Vince, Brawler Blast, Duolingo and Six Buffies

The biggest Null’s Brawl update of the year is on the way. Supercell revealed it in the August 29 Brawl Talk, and it reworks how you unlock Brawlers entirely, adds two new Mythic Brawlers in Cosmo and Vince, brings a surprise Duolingo collaboration with a 20-player boss mode, and hands six existing Brawlers a full set of Buffies. Because Null’s Brawl always follows the official release, this content is not live on the private server yet. It usually lands about two weeks after Supercell ships it, so the smart move right now is to know exactly what is coming so you are ready on day one. Here is everything you need to know about Null’s Brawl v69.230.

Update Status: Coming Soon

Null’s Brawl v69.230 is not live on the private server yet. Supercell released the update on the official servers around September 1, 2026, and as always the private server release follows the official Brawl Stars update. It usually takes around 2 weeks for the new content to arrive on Null’s Brawl after it launches in Brawl Stars, so you can expect v69.230 in mid-September. Cosmo releases first in the September season, and Vince follows in October alongside the Brawl-O-Ween season, so the two Brawlers arrive a month apart on the official timeline and Null’s Brawl will mirror that order. When the update goes live here, every Brawler, skin, and progression reward is unlocked from the start, exactly as you expect from Null’s Brawl. Bookmark this page for the release, and download the current version below to keep playing while you wait.

Meet Two New Brawlers

New Brawler: Cosmo (Mythic Controller)

Cosmo is the first of the two new Brawlers and the first member of a new Scientist Trio based at the Starr Park Observatory. He is a Mythic Controller, and his whole kit is built around bending the path of projectiles, both his own and his teammates’.

Cosmo Brawler Null's Brawl

Cosmo Aspect:

  • His main attack, Orbit, fires three projectiles that travel in a circular, orbiting path. The farther they drift apart as they fly, the bigger they grow and the more damage they deal, which rewards good spacing and makes him dangerous at range.
  • His Super, Gravitational Pull, fires a magnet that latches onto an enemy. Once it attaches, every projectile from Cosmo and his teammates gains extreme homing toward that target. That is what makes Cosmo one of the strongest team-support Controllers in the game: pair him with a teammate who throws a lot of projectiles and the marked enemy has nowhere to hide.
  • His first Gadget, Planetary Pushback, knocks enemies back from a targeted area. His second, Telescope Trap, reveals an area for 6 seconds including invisible enemies and stops any Brawler inside from using dashes, jumps, or teleports. His Star Powers are Precession, which speeds up his orbit by 25 percent, and Ammo Attractor, which reloads 2 ammo whenever his Super hits. Cosmo releases in September.

New Brawler: Vince (Mythic Damage Dealer)

Vince is the second new Brawler and arrives with the Brawl-O-Ween season in October. He is a Mythic Damage Dealer who runs the Creepy Café next to Juju’s Oddities Shop, and his kit is built around collecting bugs.

Vince Brawler Null's Brawl

Vince Aspect:

  • Vince’s trait spawns caterpillars near him throughout the match. Hitting a caterpillar with a coffee attack or simply walking over it turns it into a moth for his collection, and those moths power up his Super. The catch is that Vince loses half his collection when he is defeated, so staying alive to build up your moths is the entire skill of the Brawler. His Super scales up to a maximum of 20 moths.
  • His main attack, Espresso Shot, throws a coffee mug for damage. His Super, Barista Barrage, fires a single projectile that inflicts a Caterpillar debuff, and his main attacks deal bonus damage against any enemy carrying that debuff. That gives Vince a clear combo: land the Super to mark a target, then follow up with mugs for extra damage. His Star Powers, Come to Papa and Bug Bandage, pull nearby caterpillars toward him and heal him for 1,200 each time he turns a caterpillar into a moth. Vince releases in October.

Brawler Blast: The New Way to Unlock Brawlers

The headline change of v69.230 is Brawler Blast, the system that replaces the old Starr Road. On the official game this changes how Credits work and how you earn new Brawlers, and it is the single biggest structural shift the game has seen in a long time.

Null's Brawl v68.279 new update

How Brawler Blast Works

  • When you save enough Credits for the next rarity, you enter the Brawler Blast screen. Up to 10 unowned Brawlers of that rarity appear as targets in a shooting gallery. You fire shots to knock the targets down, and the last Brawler standing is the one you unlock. If there are fewer than 10 unowned Brawlers in that rarity, the empty slots become blank targets, and those blanks always fall before the real Brawlers do.
  • The rarity costs stay the same as before: 160 Credits for Rare, 430 for Super Rare, 925 for Epic, 1,900 for Mythic, 3,800 for Legendary, and 5,500 for Ultra. There is a set order of rarity unlocks, and the Brawler Collection shows which rarity you are working toward next.

Gem Fragments and Bonus Progression

  • The part that makes Brawler Blast exciting is Gem Fragments. As you knock down targets, there is a chance to reveal between 1 and 4 Gem Fragments per hit, and after you receive your new Brawler those fragments convert into instant progression for that Brawler. The reward scales with how many you collect: 1 fragment gives an extra Power Level, 2 can give a Gadget or Super Rare Gear, 3 can give a Star Power, and 4 can give a Hypercharge or a Buffie. The better the reward, the rarer it is, and each opening is capped at one Gadget, one Gear, one Star Power, one Hypercharge, one Buffie, and a maximum of ten Power Levels.
  • There is also a 50 percent chance you get to choose your Brawler from a small pool of two to four options at the end of the Blast, so you keep some control over who you unlock. If only one unowned Brawler remains in a rarity, that is the one you get, and you still earn the same progression.
  • Because Null’s Brawl unlocks everything from the start, Brawler Blast on the private server is about the experience and the progression flow rather than grinding Credits, but the system itself works the same way it does on the official game.

New Hypercharges for Nori and Wendy

Both Brawlers from the previous Ramen Rebellion update get their first Hypercharges in this patch. Nori’s Master Fisherman pulls all enemies in before dealing area damage when he dives into the water with his Super. Wendy’s Green Energy increases her Shield Generator’s health and absorbs 90 percent of the damage taken by Wendy or her teammates.

One important note on Wendy: her base Super was nerfed in the same patch, with her Shield Generator health dropping from 3,500 to 2,500 and its damage reduction falling from 75 percent to 60 percent, so the Hypercharge partly offsets a weaker base kit rather than stacking on top of it. Nori was also nerfed, losing health and some slash damage, so both new Brawlers are more balanced than they were at launch.

Buffies: Six Brawlers Reworked

  • This update brings a full round of Buffies to six Brawlers, split into two trios, with reworked Gadgets, updated Star Powers, and new Hypercharge upgrades for each.

The Poco Bandstand Trio: Poco, El Primo, Amber

Poco’s support kit gets stronger. His Tuning Fork now pulse-heals nearby allies, and when Buffied that healing also grants reload speed. His Protective Tunes cleanses all negative effects and grants immunity to them inside the area. El Primo’s Suplex now makes him dash and, when Buffied, slam enemies into the ground for area damage, and his Asteroid Belt blocks projectiles for 2 seconds. Amber’s oil now stays on the floor until it burns, her Fire Starters summons an oil barrel, and her Hyper Buffie lets her main attack set enemies on fire.

The Ghost Station Trio: Gus, Chuck, Shade

Gus gets more support tools, with a reworked Knockback Spirit that knocks enemies away before turning into a healing spirit. Shade’s kit is rebalanced so all his Gadgets and Star Powers are worth using, and his Hypercharge now heals him while he is inside a wall.
The standout is Chuck, who gets a full Super rework. He now starts every match with a full Super and has four Super charges by default, and placing a pole or dashing to one spends a charge instead of charging over time. His main attack is faster and stronger to make up for it. The goal is a much shorter setup phase so Chuck works in more modes than just Heist, at the cost of lower single-hit damage.

Duolingo Event and Hide & Seek

Two new ways to play arrive with this update, and both are built for fun rather than ranked grinding.

Null's Brawl Duolingo Update

The Duolingo Boss Mode

Null’s Brawl teams up with Duolingo for a back-to-school crossover. Duo the Owl takes over the game for a two-week event through a brand-new boss fight that, for the first time ever, lets up to 20 players battle at the same time. The fight starts with Duo asking a question, and you move to where the correct answer sits on the map. Get it right and you earn a buff for the battle. Get it wrong and you take damage or risk being eliminated. A community event tied to the crossover starts on September 19 and hands out Duolingo cosmetics, Chaos Drops, and a free Spike for players who do not already own him.

Hide and Seek and Prop Hunt

Hide and Seek is a new casual mode where one Seeker hunts three Hiders across four 45-second rounds, and everyone takes a turn as the Seeker. The Seeker gets big boosts to speed, damage, health, and size but cannot regenerate health, so the Hiders always have a chance. It is played with the new Prop Hunt modifier, which turns you into a random wall or decoration from the map whenever you stop moving. Attack and you are revealed, but stand still again and you can become a new prop. Prop Hunt can also show up in Showdown, Gem Grab, Knockout, and Bounty.

New Skins: Royal Academy and Brawl-O-Ween

October brings the return of Brawl-O-Ween. Fortune Teller P and Cursed Shade lead that Brawl Pass, joined by Dr. Bellenstein, Bellenstein’s Monster Piper, Flame Rider Chuck, Terrornaut Damian, and Gravestone Griff. The Moon Festival adds Moonlight Lola and Moonlight Eve, and a batch of community-made Supercell MAKE skins arrives too, including Retro Kit, Jormungandr Doug, Bone Collector Alli, Twilight Queen Lily, and Xenomech Max.

Ultra Legendary Renamed to Ultra

One small but permanent change: the Ultra Legendary rarity is now simply called Ultra. On Null’s Brawl this affects the two existing Ultra brawlers, Kaze and Sirius, which will show under the new Ultra label once the update lands. Nothing about how they play changes, only the name of the rarity.

Null’s Brawl v69.230 Is Coming Soon

Null’s Brawl v69.230 is not on the private server yet, but it is on the way. Following the usual two-week gap after the official Brawl Stars release, you can expect Brawler Blast, both new Brawlers, the Duolingo event, Hide and Seek, and the full set of Buffies and balance changes to arrive on the private server in mid-September, all with unlimited gems, coins, and boxes as always. Keep this page bookmarked for the release, and download the current version below to keep playing in the meantime.

Null’s Brawl v69.230 FAQs

Null’s Brawl usually updates about two weeks after the official Brawl Stars release. v69.230 went live on the official servers around September 1, 2026, so it is expected on Null’s Brawl in mid-September, with Cosmo first and Vince following in October.

Brawler Blast is the new system that replaces Starr Road. Yes. Like all Null’s Brawl content, the Duolingo boss mode and the two-week event will be available for free once the update lands, with every Brawler already unlocked.

Yes. Ultra Legendary is now called Ultra. It is only a name change, so Kaze and Sirius keep all their abilities and simply appear under the new rarity label.
